We design in Hong Kong and ship from warehouses in the EU and US. Each bag is built around a water-resistant technical shell, a padded laptop sleeve and the details we use every day: quick-access pockets, a luggage pass-through and solid hardware.
Why we started
A bag should earn its place in your day
iD55 began with a simple frustration: carry gear either looked good or worked well, rarely both. We started with one backpack, a 22-litre daypack built around a water-resistant technical shell, and a simple rule: make fewer things, and make them useful.
Today we run a small design studio in Hong Kong with fulfilment partners in Germany and New Jersey. EU orders typically arrive in 3–6 days and US orders in 4–8; delivery estimates are not guaranteed and may vary with customs or carrier delays.
We are not a mega-brand. We release a small number of products each year and answer our own support email.

A water-resistant technical shell, reinforced at abrasion points. We choose zips, webbing and linings for durability — and, where possible, for replacement.
