Terms of Service
Last updated: 8 November 2026
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of https://www.id55.com/ (the “Site”) and any purchase you make from iD55 LIMITED (“iD55”, “we”, “us” or “our”). By placing an order you confirm that you have read, understood and agree to these Terms, our Privacy Policy, our Refund & Returns Policy and our Shipping Policy.
Nothing in these Terms limits any mandatory consumer right you have under the law of your country of residence. If a provision of these Terms conflicts with such a right, the statutory right prevails.
1. Who we are
iD55 LIMITED
Unit 1203, 12/F, 55 Wellington Street, Central, Hong Kong
Email: [email protected]
Phone: +852 3000 5555
Our support hours are Mon–Fri, 09:00–18:00 (HKT, UTC+8). We answer emails within one business day. For returns, repairs and order questions please use the contact details above and include your order number.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority in your jurisdiction, and able to enter into a binding contract to place an order. If you order on behalf of a company, you confirm that you are authorised to bind that company.
3. Products, descriptions and availability
We describe every product as accurately as we can, including dimensions, weight, materials and care instructions. Photographs are illustrative: screen settings and natural materials mean the colour of the delivered item may differ slightly from the images. Such differences are not defects.
All products are subject to availability. If an item you ordered turns out to be unavailable after payment, we will contact you and offer a full refund or an alternative, at your choice. We may limit quantities per order or per customer to prevent abuse.
Products are intended for normal consumer use. Any load limits, laptop size limits and care instructions published on the product page form part of the product description.
4. Prices, currency and taxes
Prices are shown in euro (EUR) and, where a currency switcher is available, converted for convenience. The currency charged is confirmed at checkout before you pay. Prices include VAT where VAT applies. Where we sell to destinations outside the EU, prices may be shown exclusive of import taxes and duties; any such charges are identified at checkout when we support delivered-duty-paid (DDP) shipping, and are otherwise payable by you to the carrier or customs authority.
US sales tax is calculated at checkout based on the delivery address. EU VAT is charged according to the destination country rules (OSS/IOSS) where applicable.
We may change prices at any time, but changes do not affect orders already accepted. If a price was obviously mispriced (for example a decimal error), we may cancel the order and refund you in full before dispatch, or ask you to confirm the corrected price.
5. Orders and acceptance
Your order is an offer to buy. Our order confirmation email acknowledges receipt but is not acceptance. A contract is formed when we dispatch the goods and send you a dispatch confirmation, or when we expressly accept your order in writing, whichever happens first.
We may refuse or cancel an order if: the product is unavailable; the delivery address is outside our shipping area; payment cannot be verified; we suspect fraud, resale abuse or a breach of these Terms; or a pricing or description error occurred. If we cancel after payment, we refund the full amount to the original payment method.
6. Payment
We accept the payment methods displayed at checkout, including major credit and debit cards, Apple Pay and Google Pay where available. Payments are processed by Stripe and its acquiring partners. We never receive or store your full card number; card data is handled by Stripe in accordance with PCI DSS.
By submitting an order you authorise us and Stripe to charge the total amount shown, including shipping, taxes and any duties collected at checkout. Your bank may require strong customer authentication (3-D Secure). If authentication fails or payment is declined, the order will not be placed.
Payments are captured when the order is placed. If we later cancel or partially refund an order, the refund is made to the original payment method. Bank processing usually takes 5–10 business days. We do not store payment credentials.
If you believe a charge is wrong, contact us first at [email protected] — we can usually resolve it faster than a chargeback. You remain liable for chargebacks that are not justified, including the associated dispute fees where permitted by law.
7. Shipping and delivery
Delivery times, rates and destinations are set out in our Shipping Policy. Estimated delivery times are not guaranteed and may be affected by customs, carrier delays, public holidays or events outside our control.
Risk in the goods passes to you when the goods are delivered to the address you provided, or to a neighbour or parcel shop you selected. Title passes when we have received payment in full.
If a parcel is lost or damaged in transit, contact us within 30 days of the dispatch date and we will investigate and, where appropriate, send a replacement or refund.
8. Your right to change your mind (EU/UK consumers)
If you are a consumer resident in the European Union, Norway, Iceland, Liechtenstein or the United Kingdom, you have a statutory right to withdraw from your purchase within 14 days of receiving the goods, without giving a reason.
To exercise this right, tell us before the 14-day period expires by email to [email protected] or by using the model withdrawal form. You may also use the returns function in your account. Then send the goods back within 14 days of telling us. You bear the direct cost of returning the goods unless we agreed otherwise or the goods are faulty.
We refund the price paid for the goods, including the standard delivery cost, within 14 days of receiving your withdrawal notice or of receiving the returned goods, whichever is earlier. We may reduce the refund for diminished value caused by handling beyond what is necessary to establish the nature, characteristics and functioning of the goods.
The right of withdrawal does not apply to: personalised or made-to-order items; sealed products unsealed after delivery where hygiene or health protection applies; and gift cards once redeemed.
9. Faulty goods and your statutory rights
If your item is faulty, contact us with your order number and photos. If you are an EU consumer, you have a statutory legal guarantee of at least two years from delivery (longer in some member states). If goods are faulty, you may be entitled to repair, replacement, price reduction or refund. Defects present at delivery are presumed to have existed for the first 12 months in most EU countries.
This is a statutory guarantee. We do not offer a separate commercial warranty. Normal wear and tear, accidental damage, overloading, improper washing or drying, alterations and commercial use are not covered. Where a repair is possible outside the guarantee, we can quote for it before starting work. Keep your proof of purchase.
10. Returns and refunds
Our returns policy is set out in the Refund & Returns Policy. In short: unused items can be returned within 14 days of delivery, and EU/UK consumers always retain the 14-day statutory withdrawal right described in section 8.
11. Accounts
You are responsible for keeping your account credentials confidential and for all activity under your account. Tell us promptly if you believe your account has been compromised. We may suspend or close accounts used for fraud, abuse, resale in breach of these Terms, or harassment of our team.
Guest checkout is available; an account is optional.
12. Promotions, kits, bundles and countdown offers
From time to time we run promotions, bundle (“kit”) savings and countdown offers. Unless stated otherwise: offers are available while stocks last and until the published deadline; they cannot be combined with other discount codes; the discount applies to eligible items only, as shown in the cart; and one offer per order.
Countdown timers display an end date and time in your local browser time; the campaign ends at the deadline shown on the site regardless of the visitor’s clock. If a promotion is affected by a technical error, we may withdraw it and will honour orders already accepted at the promoted price.
Kit savings are applied automatically in the cart as a price adjustment on eligible items. If you return part of a kit, the saving is recalculated and the refund reflects the price actually paid for the returned items.
13. Gift cards
Gift cards are valid for 24 months from purchase, are not redeemable for cash, and can be used across multiple orders. Lost gift cards can only be replaced with proof of purchase. Where required by law, unused balances are refundable.
14. Intellectual property
The Site, our name, logo, product designs, photographs, text and code are owned by us or our licensors and protected by intellectual property laws. You may use the Site for personal, non-commercial purposes and share links or product images for editorial or social purposes with attribution. You may not copy our product designs, scrape the Site, or use our content for commercial purposes without written permission.
15. Acceptable use
You agree not to: use the Site unlawfully or fraudulently; interfere with its operation or security; attempt to access accounts or data that are not yours; upload malware; use automated tools to extract data at a scale that affects the service; or resell products in a way that misrepresents an affiliation with iD55.
16. Reviews and user content
If you submit a review, photo or comment, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to display, reproduce and adapt that content on the Site and in marketing, with attribution where appropriate. You confirm that you own the content or have permission to share it, and that it is accurate and not misleading. We moderate reviews and may remove content that is unlawful, abusive, or unrelated to the product. We do not edit reviews to change their meaning and we do not offer incentives for positive reviews.
17. Liability
We are liable without limitation for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, and for any liability that cannot be excluded by law. For other losses, we are liable for foreseeable loss caused by our breach of these Terms, up to the amount you paid for the affected order.
We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, loss of profit, loss of business, or loss caused by events outside our reasonable control (including carrier strikes, customs delays, natural disasters or network failures), except where the law requires otherwise. Nothing in this section affects your statutory rights as a consumer.
18. Indemnity
If you use the Site in breach of these Terms and that causes a claim against us, you agree to indemnify us for the resulting losses, to the extent permitted by law. This does not apply to consumers acting in good faith within their statutory rights.
19. Disputes and governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region, without prejudice to mandatory consumer protection rules in your country of residence.
If you are a consumer in the EU, Norway, Iceland, Liechtenstein or the UK, you may bring proceedings in the courts of your place of residence, and nothing in these Terms prevents you from contacting your local consumer protection authority. The European Commission’s Online Dispute Resolution platform was discontinued on 20 July 2025; please contact us directly at [email protected] and we will try to resolve the issue within 14 days.
Before starting legal proceedings, please contact us so we can try to resolve the matter informally.
20. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms to reflect changes in law, our services or our operations. The version in force at the time of your order applies to that order. The “last updated” date at the top shows the current version. Material changes will be announced on the Site.
21. Severability and entire agreement
If any provision of these Terms is found invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in force. These Terms, together with the policies linked above and the order confirmation, form the entire agreement between us.
